This classic 5 passenger, 4-door sedan runs well, looks
great and is fun to drive. No rust. It has taken several
trophies at various local shows. Included in the price is
a complete inventory of extra parts: mechanicals,
electrical, engine compartment parts, brakes, etc. from
an identical parts car. The spare drive train parts
include: block & manifolds, head, transmission,
clutch, drive shaft, differential, steering box, etc. All
serviceable. All five tires are new. No body or frame
parts are included. Also included is (probably) the best
available collection of factory technical documentation
for this vehicle, as well as other manuals from the
1920s. Many after-market collectible options are also
included.
- Vehicle Condition :
The engine was professionally rebuilt less than 100 miles
ago. The drive shaft is custom with a modern universal
joint. The original drive shaft is still available if you
want to use it with fabric disks (not included).
Recently, I started converting this "Standard" Light Six
to a "Deluxe" Light Six. So far, the paint has been
professionally done and is in near perfect condition.
This vehicle has always been garaged. The instrument
panel, steering wheel and shifter knob were custom made
from the same piece of walnut, and are gorgeous. I
started replacing the upholstery myself but didn't
finish, so everything is covered but with two different
fabric colors: either gray or off-white. There is a small
amount of wood rot near the front doors that will be an
easy repair for someone with woodworking skills. The
nickel chrome is original and is showing its age. Overall
condition is close to a "2". This is the perfect car for
someone who wants to do some restoration work and bring
it to a solid "2" and then on to a "1".
