For 15 years, we have specialized in finding the most unique vehicles in the world.See our page above for a link to our website to see our collection. 1958 Edsel Bermuda On September 4, 1957, the Edsel, billed as "The Newest Thing On Four Wheels" was released to the general public. NEarly 4000 sales were reported that first day, which sounded great. However, sales soon plummeted, and within a month the writing was already on the wall. The demise of the Edsel is well documented, and the name has undeservedly become the butt of many jokes. It's a shame because Edsels are actually very nice cars, and a nicely restored one is a great car. The car on offer is a fabulous, ground up restoration to show standards. According to The Edsel Registry, this is the earliest Bermuda in existence, and quite possibly the first off the production line. The paintwork is done to a very high standard, and the chrome is of show quality. The wood grain on the side of the car is all like new, and although original, this car has ben upgraded with wood graining around the windows also, which is quite striking.The interior of the car is fully restored as well, and the upholstery, door panels, headliner, dashboard, etc. are in fabulous condition. This Bermuda is loaded with options including; Edsel's famous "Teletouch" automatic transmission with the controls in the hub of the steering wheel (very cool!), Town & Country signal seeking radio, tinted glass, wheel covers with spinners, padded dash and sunvisors, electric clock, tachometer, full carpet, front bumper guards, left and right hooded side mirrors, power steering, power brakes, and power seat. The engine compartment is show quality, and mechanically the car is very well sorted. The E-400 V8 starts instantly, and the car drives very well. This is one of the finest Edsel's available, and is ready to drive or be shown with confidence.
