CE QU'EN DIT LE VENDEUR
  • HERE IS A 1956 EL CAMINO. ACTUALLY IT WAS A 210 TRADESMAN 4 DOOR WAGON THAT WAS CUSTOMIZED WITH THE ROOF SECTION FROM A 1956 CHEVY TRUCK. THIS CAR HAS A REBUILT 350 ENGINE AND T350 TRANSMISSION OUT OF A 1973 GMC CABALERO. THE CUSTOM UPHOLSTERED SEAT IS BELIVED TO BE EARLY 70`S CHRYSLER. THE BED FLOOR WAS MADE OF PLYWOOD AND PAINTED RED. THERE IS A RED CARPET WITH WHITE LEATHER PIPING THAT IS FITTED FOR THE BED FLOOR FOR SHOW PURPOSES. THERE IS AN ACCESS PANEL IN THE BED FLOOR FOR THE SPAIR TIRE AND ANOTHER COMPARTMENT FOR STORAGE. THIS CAR HAS THE OPTIONAL 12 PIECE FRONT BUMPER, REAR BUMPER GUARDS, WONDER BAR RADIO, AND CLOCK. THERE IS A BOX OF EXTRA PARTS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO AN EXTRA REAR BUMPER GUARD, WASHER BOTTEL HOLDER, WIPER ARMS, LENSES, UNUSED BALL JOINT, WINSHIELD TRIM, WIPER PARTS, AND OTHER MISC. STUFF. THE CAR HAS A DENON CD PLAYER MOUNTED IN THE GLOVE BOX AND TWO 6/9 SPEAKERS IN BOXES BEHIND THE SEAT.  INCLUDED WITH THE CAR IS A COMPLETE SET OF GM MANUALS.  THE CAR DROVE FROM SEATTLE TO HOT AUGUST NIGHTS IN 1996.  IN 2001 THE CAR TOOK A 3900 MILE TRIP FROM SEATTLE TO WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, CANADA AND BACK HOME THROUGH THE DAKOTAS.  BLACK CAT NOT INCLUDED.

    THIS CAR IN AN OLDER AMATURE RESTORATION. IT WAS PAINTED IN 1995. THE PAINT WORK WAS DONE WITH QUALITY PRODUCTS BY A PROFESSIONAL. THE INTERIOR WAS ALSO DONE IN 1995. THERE ARE A FEW CHIPS HERE AND THERE FROM USE AND THERE IS SOME RUST BUBBLES SHOWING BELOW THE PASSENGER DOOR. THE FLOOR BOARDS WERE REPAIRED AT ONE TIME. THIS CAR IS STILL VERY PRESENTABLE AND SHOWS NICE WHEN POLISHED. EVERYONE AT THE CAR SHOWS TURNS TO LOOK AT IT TWICE AND IT GETS ITS PICTURE TAKEN ALOT. THE CHROME  IS OK DRIVER QUALITY BUT NOT SHOW. THE WINDSHIELD HAS WIPER SCRATCHES. THE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW IS CRACKED. THE ENGINE AND TRANS BOTH LEAK A LITTLE. THE TRANS SHIFTS GOOD. THE ENGINE HAS AN ALMOST NEW EDELBROCK PERFORMER CAM LIFTERS AND INTAKE. IT HAS A CHROME OIL PAN TRANS PAN AND TIMING COVER. THE ENGINE NEEDS A TUNE UP AND CARB ADJUSTMENT. TIRES ARE 60% OVER ALL THIS CAR HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL BUT DOES NEED SOMEONE TO PUT SOME TLC INTO IT. I AM SELLING THE CAR BECAUSE I HAVE A DAUGHTER NOW AND DON'T HAVE TIME FOR IT.
