Description - This beautiful '56 roadster was purchased from the estate of the original owner who had the car for 50 years. He lived in Janesville, WI, and was employed at the General Motors assembly plant. Fully documented history includes the original Bill of Sale, various photos of the car over the years, original spare tire and owner's manual. The car has never been in an accident or had any body work done. It has its original 225hp, 265cid motor with dual fours. It has a 3-speed close ratio transmission, power hydraulic top, along with rare windshield washers, courtesy lights and emergency brake warning light, original stunning Venetian Red with beige coves and top. Every nut, bolt and moving part was restored. This corvette won Top Flight honors at the regional NCRS judging in Rochester, MN, in 2007. It even sports its original wheel covers.
